Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

PNL Rank & Recovery("we," "us," or "our") operates pnlrankandrecovery.com and provides AI-powered local SEO reporting and multi-channel lead-list auditing and reactivation services for small businesses. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information in connection with our services.

2. Information We Collect

From you directly:

  • Business information — your business name, website, location (city and state), phone number, address, and primary service keyword, provided when you sign up for LocalRank Agent.
  • Contact information — your name, email address, and phone number for account setup, report delivery, and correspondence.
  • Lead lists — CSV files containing names, email addresses, and/or mobile phone numbers of your existing contacts, uploaded when you purchase Lead Recovery Agent. These lists belong to you.
  • Payment information — processed entirely by Stripe. We receive only a transaction confirmation and the last four digits of your card. We never see or store full card numbers.
  • Communications — any messages you send us via our contact form or email.

Automatically via our services:

  • Search ranking data — we query third-party search data APIs using your business name and keyword to compile your weekly LocalRank report. This data is not personally identifiable.
  • Email delivery metadata — for Lead Recovery campaigns, we track whether outreach emails were sent and whether replies were received. We do not use tracking pixels or link-click tracking.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To configure, run, and deliver your purchased services.
  • To send your LocalRank reports to your designated report email address on your chosen schedule.
  • To conduct the Lead Recovery email outreach campaign on your behalf using your uploaded lead list.
  • To send you transactional emails (purchase confirmation, onboarding instructions, campaign completion reports).
  • To respond to your support or billing inquiries.
  • To log customer signups in our internal Google Sheets register for service management purposes.

We do not sell your information. We do not use your data for advertising or share it with third parties for their marketing purposes.

4. Lead Lists You Provide

When you upload a lead list for Lead Recovery, the contacts in that list are your data. We process submitted lead data only for the approved recovery workflow. Depending on the fields available and campaign authorization, this may include:

  • auditing and normalizing the list, detecting duplicates and incomplete records, and preparing suppression files;
  • eligible email outreach, direct-mail preparation, or coordination with an approved mailing vendor;
  • operating a response path where recipients can request renewed contact and select a preferred communication method;
  • notifying you when a contact requests renewed contact, and producing recovery reports and maintaining suppression records.

We store uploaded CSV files and campaign data on our private VPS. We track reply status per contact to compile your Recovery Report. We do not share these contacts — including any mobile phone numbers — with any third party or use them for any purpose other than running your approved campaign. Mobile phone numbers are never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for their marketing purposes. You are responsible for having lawful authority to have us process the individuals on your list.

4a. Permission-Based Telephone and SMS Processing

PNL Rank & Recovery does not use an old telephone number for marketing SMS solely because it appears in a client-provided lead list. Telephone or SMS processing occurs only when you supply adequate documentation for the intended channel, or when the individual submits a new recorded request through the recovery workflow.

When SMS is enabled for an opted-in recipient:

  • Message frequency — message frequency varies according to the approved campaign.
  • Message and data rates may apply— standard message and data rates may apply depending on the recipient's mobile carrier and plan.
  • Opt-out — recipients may reply STOP at any time to be immediately removed from further SMS outreach. Reply HELP for assistance.
  • Non-sharing — the number is used only for the approved campaign and is not sold or rented. Opt-outs are added to the applicable suppression record.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services in operating our platform:

  • Stripe — payment processing. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
  • Google Sheets — internal customer register, used by our team only.
  • DataForSEO — search ranking data provider. Only your business name and keyword are sent to their API.
  • Hostinger — our email and VPS hosting provider. Emails are sent via SMTP on our private domain.

We do not currently use a dedicated SMS provider — permission-based SMS is handled manually until an automated channel is active, at which point this policy will name the provider used.

We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any behavioral tracking technology on this website.

6. Data Retention

  • LocalRank customers — your business profile and report history are retained for as long as your subscription is active, plus 90 days after cancellation to allow for reactivation.
  • Lead Recovery — raw uploaded lead files and normalized campaign data — retained for 90 days after campaign completion, then deleted.
  • Lead Recovery — consent and suppression records — limited evidence of a renewed-contact request, opt-out, or do-not-contact instruction may be retained longer than 90 days when necessary to document the request, honor an opt-out, prevent re-contact, resolve disputes, or meet legal and operational obligations. Suppression records are not deleted in a way that would cause a previously opted-out person to be contacted again.
  • Contact form inquiries — retained in our internal records for up to 24 months.

You may request earlier deletion of your data by emailing us at hello@pnlrankandrecovery.com, subject to the suppression-record exception above.

7. Data Security

We take reasonable technical precautions to protect your information:

  • All data is stored on a private VPS with restricted access.
  • API credentials and passwords are stored as environment variables, not in code or logs.
  • All web traffic uses HTTPS/TLS encryption.
  • Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe — we never touch raw card data.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but are committed to protecting your information with industry standard practices.

8. Your Rights

Depending on where you are located, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your data (subject to our retention obligations).
  • Object to or restrict certain processing.
  • Receive your data in a portable format.

9. Email Communications

We may send you transactional emails related to your account and services (reports, billing confirmations, service alerts). These are not promotional and cannot be fully opted out of while your account is active.

If you contact us and ask to be removed from all communications, we will honor that request and close your account.

10. Children's Privacy

Our services are intended for businesses and are not directed at individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be communicated to active customers via email.
